Yes And No
'Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil. '
Matthew 5:37
Dear Journey Family…
What a Sunday the Lord granted us! Raised to life! Buried in the likeness of His death; raised in the likeness of His resurrection! All God’s people say ‘Amen!’
Baptism Sunday, what a blessing and encouragement for those that participated and those that witnessed it. If you would like to hear and watch their testimonies and baptism just click on the link:
And again, if you are interested in getting baptized, please let us know, we will gladly help you out, just send us a message: LINK
Also if you missed Pastor Brian’s message on Matthew 5 in which he reminded us to be men and women of honesty and not be conformed to this world’s ways of dealing with promises and commitments, let our “yes” be “yes” and our “no” be “no”.
You can watch it here:
Blood Drive
This coming Monday, August 29th, we will be opening our doors starting at 1pm for our first blood drive. There are still spots available if you would like to donate blood. You also get a nice colorful water bottle and stickers (while supplies last).

Picnic Time
We are almost there, September 4th!
Are you inviting family and friends already? Great opportunity to bring others and leave encourage by God’s word, good fellowship and free food! What else can we ask for?
This Sunday we are asking to anyone coming to the service if they can take a moment to put the chairs in the auditorium away to make room for tables and by the way, if you you have a long table that we can borrow, we are short a couple of tables. Just let us know.
Thanks!

And that’s all we have for now.
