Dear Journey Family…

Repay evil with blessing

Easier said than done isn’t it? Why is that? Pastor Brian encouraged you to consider and put this core biblical principle in practice. After all isn’t that what Christ did? Didn’t he leave you the ultimate example? He provided the greatest blessing, your salvation, the forgiveness of your sins, when, on the other hand, we constantly do evil.

But that’s God’s love.

And that is what God called you to according to Peter “so that you may inherit a blessing”

Remember you are in this world but not from this world, our citizenship is in heaven. Let’s act like citizens of heaven, like children of God. In our homes, at work. On the road, at the store. Look for opportunities to shine His light.

This Sunday we will be receiving God’s Word from Justin Harrington and an encouragement and exhortation to all families to not just educate and provide for the family but to disciple your kids, grandkids, your spouse.

Summer Fun Getting Closer!

First of all thank you to all the people that already have signed up to volunteer, we cannot do this event without your help. You make it possible, you make it fun and you make it transcend from just three fun days where we sing, dance, play and read some Bible, to a life changing experience that can really make an impact in a child’s life and heart, for eternity!!

And that is AWESOME!!

(Trust me, that word shouldn’t be used lightly, but in this case it only is awesome because it is God’s power involved in this, nothing we do, really… all the credit to Him)

We still need helpers, specially to decorate before the 15th and to help with the babies and toddlers during the three days. If you would like to take the opportunity to serve, please click here

Again, the dates are June 15th - 17th (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), 10am - 12pm at our worship center and open to kids from grades K through 5th

LifeWise Academy Visiting Journey

This Sunday we’ll be welcoming our friends from LifeWise Academy, a great organization whose purpose is to bring the Bible back into the public schools. How is this possible? You might ask, well, come prepared to listen and learn how the Lord has used brothers and sisters to find a way to do just that.

We want to thank you for your prayers and your continued support for our ministry. Please keep praying for direction from above as we are seeking for a new location to move to in the next months. Our Building Search Committee is praying hard, working hard to be able to follow God’s will in this matter. Please also pray for our finances, but more than that for Journey’s mission to reach out with Jesus’ Gospel to those that the Lord will add to our church family. We are trusting that He will provide what we need. He has always been faithful.
