Dear Journey Family…

“What attracted you to your husband?” Was the question that Pastor Brian started his message last Sunday? (the same question for the husbands “what attracted you to your wife?”

One very controversial topic with all that our culture is pushing as old and outdated when it comes to the role of the wife submitting to the authority of the husband. A godly, God fearing, God loving husband.

In a world that worships the autonomy, freedom to do as we please. Bringing up this type of verses from the Bible can be seen as “out of touch”. But if we believe that God knows better than our own worldly wisdom, we can trust that he left roles for a reason.

Journey Kids Summerama ‘22

Justin shared about our kids program for the sumer: Kids Summerama ‘22. Sign up is open, we already have a couple of early birds signed up, so you should go ahead and sign up too, you can just click on the button below.

The theme of the Summerama is “Superhero Faith”, so get your capes and masks out everyone!

Please pray for this activity, let’s pray that God will bring a great number of kids to hear the gospel and hopefully their lives will be set to love Jesus and follow Him. We hope that you are excited about it and can invite your neighbors, friends, relatives and anyone else you can think of.

The dates are June 15th - 17th (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), 10am - 12pm at our worship center and open to kids age K through 5th grade

May 22 is our Sunday to celebrate those who are graduating or graduated from high school or college this year. If you know of anyone else that is graduating and would like to participate in the recognition, please let us know, just email us here
