We're Not In Kansas Anymore...

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

I Corinthians 15:3-4

Dear Journey Family:

“He Is Risen!”

We celebrated Resurrection Sunday with a lovely time together in worship and Scripture teaching pointing us to the cross and the empty tomb that hopefully helped you remember of the importance of Jesus’ sacrifice for us. If you want to watch and hear the message again click here. And maybe this gave you the opportunity to share that message with others and they were able to put their trust in the Lord.

We were encouraged by the number of guests we had this past Sunday and are thankful to the Lord for your faithfulness inviting friends and family. So many new faces at Journey! Praise the Lord!

Trouble In Oz

This Sunday we invite you to join us for a new series that Pastor Brian will be sharing with us that is very relevant to our daily life, going to work, being husbands or wives in this world; as Jesus put it in his prayer for his followers: “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.”

So join us this Sunday at 10am for the new series “Trouble In Oz” and if you can’t make it in person, here is the link to watch it online, and go ahead and share it with someone, you can copy it and paste on an email, on a text, on your social media to share it with friends.

Journeymen

This Saturday is the second Journeymen meeting at Eric’s, at 8am. If you would like to join them or for more information, contact Justin here

Sophi Hoyt

Also this Sunday we will hear a report from Sophi Hoyt and her trip to Arizona during spring break, we will be glad to hear of what the Lord did through that ministry.

Baby Dedication and Graduate Sunday

With Mother’s Day approaching and our graduates getting close to finishing their schooling, We have two special Sundays coming up

Baby Dedication Sunday, on Mother’s Day in which parents dedicate and commit themselves to raise their baby under the guidance of Scripture, at the same time that the congregation commits itself to the support of that family.

And Graduate Sunday when we celebrate those who are graduating this year and would like to thank the Lord for His faithfulness.

We want to make sure that anyone that would like to participate in either of these two events have an opportunity to do so, so please click on the buttons below to take part in them.

And that’s all we have for now. Now it’s your turn to let us know what your thoughts are, share a story with us about what Jesus is doing in your life, we’d love to hear about it and pray for you.

Please email us to info@journeychurchcolumbus.org.

May your remain close to the Lord’s walk today and everyday

And until next time, thanks for reading.
