He Is Risen!
Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen!
Mark 16:5
Dear Journey Family:
Easter weekend is upon us and another opportunity to remember and celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection as a ransom for our sins. A time to reflect on what that means for our eternal destination, thank him for being willing to die for us and go through the agony of being separated from his Father as he carried the weight of our sins on him.
It is an opportunity to tell others about him. Plenty of “excuses” to initiate a conversation about Jesus this week. We hope you can take the chance and help someone put their trust in Jesus.
Or at least invite them to church this Sunday.
EGGS!!

EASTER!!

EGGS!! 〰️ EASTER!! 〰️
Last call for those egg hunters!
We are so excited, this Saturday, 10:30 am at Harry Wolfe Park (9777 Industrial Parkway), we have been preparing and letting everyone we can know that this is happening.
We have over 4000 eggs at this point and still counting. Don’t miss the opportunity to invite somebody, invite your friends, your children’s friend’s families, their grandma, their teacher and their kids. Here is again the link to the event: LINK for you to share it if you need to.
Thank you for everyone that is coming to help, if you still would like to come and help set up, please let us know, we still need helpers.
Easter Sunday
Resurrection Sunday. The most wonderful of times. He is alive! Pastor Brian has a message for us that will change everything. Or will it? You can watch it online here: LINK
You probably heard that this Sunday we will have a golf cart to commute people from their parking spot to the church building, and we have a few guest spots right at the front of the building beside the handicap spot.
And why all this you ask? (I’m glad you did), because we are expecting guests! And God willing and if you have been doing a good job inviting people you’ll bring your “one” that you invited and we want to welcome them and give them our best.
That is why also we are asking you to try to do all you can to use the front rows to sit and that way make it easier for guests to find a more accessible seat for them and their family.
And you’ll be receiving God’s word first.
Good Friday
Our Good Friday Family Communion Service is on… do you want to guess? FRIDAY! This April 15 at 6pm.
Come prepared to meditate in Jesus’ sacrifice, to receive and share the bread and the cup; make sure there is nothing in between “lingering” that might be in the way of your communion with God, after all that is what communion is the “common-union” what we have in common with God that unifies us to Him: Jesus and his sacrifice to clean us from sin.
We are clean from sin through his blood, and that is how we should present ourselves to him this Friday.
And every day.
And that’s all we have for now. Now it’s your turn to let us know what your thoughts are, share a story with us about how Jesus sacrifice has impacted your life, here on Earth and after we leave it. We’d love to hear it.
Please email us to info@journeychurchcolumbus.org.
May your remain close to the Lord’s walk today and everyday
And until next time, thanks for reading.
