Labor Day Communion

'For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. '

1 Corinthians 11:26

Dear Journey Family…

We are preparing to celebrate the Lord’s Supper this Sunday.

The Lord’s Supper (or communion) is a time when believers in Christ remember the last meal he had with his disciples before being arrested, sentenced and crucified for the redemption of our sins.

It is also a time for reflection. Reflection about ourselves, our lives and our relationship with the Lord. We are encouraged to examine ourselves before participating in the sharing of the bread and the cup, and make sure we are not doing it in an unworthy manner (1Corinthians 11:27-30).

We hope you can join us this Sunday to celebrate together but if you can’t, you can join us online HERE

And if you would like to watch last week’s sermon and Pastor Justin’s words at the end of the service, you can do that by clicking on this LINK.

Labor Day Fellowship Potluck

The celebration continues after the morning service as we come together to share lunch in our Labor Day Potluck. Please come and and enjoy with us; bring a dish to share, but even if you don’t bring a dish, there will be plenty for everyone!

And bring friends!

If you have any questions, please email us HERE

Gospel Stories

We want to recognize and celebrate with those who are taking God’s mission of sharing the good news with those around them.

If you have a recent story where you had an opportunity to share the Gospel with someone, please let us know. We would like to pray for the person and help in any way we can. This also encourages others to do the same and then we are able to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds

Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to give glory to God all together for what He is doing through you. It doesn’t matter if they made a decision to trust in Jesus or not. We are planting seeds, they Lord will bring about the growth. Just email us HERE

That’s all we have for now - it’s your turn to let us know what your thoughts are.

If you have anything that we can help with in prayer, please let us know.

We’d love to pray with you and for you.

Email us at info@journeychurchcolumbus.org.

And until next time, thanks for reading!
