Dear friends and family:

I’m excited to let you know that this summer I will be serving the Lord at Marmon Valley Ministries Horse Camp!

Through daily Bible studies, camp talks, and interaction with staff, campers learn about God’s compassion, the love of Jesus Christ, and how God desires a personal relationship with each of us. As summer staff, we get to encourage young people to see the creative hand of God through nature, horses, and other farm animals. I will have the unique opportunity to use horses to share God’s truth with young people through teachable moments. 

I used to go to camp there every summer, I looked forward to it more than Christmas!! I would save up all my birthday and Christmas money so I could help my parents afford it and I was blessed to be able to go for 11 years!

When I turned 18 I immediately wanted to give back. Not sure I was confident, or outgoing enough, God made me realize I just needed to love the kids and He’d take care of the rest. Now I am going on summer number 4 and I couldn’t love it more!

I have already asked the Lord to give me the physical, emotional, and spiritual endurance I will need to serve him at camp this summer. But I can’t do it alone.  

Through camper fees and previously solicited contributions, Marmon Valley Ministries has committed to financially support 50% of my income. Through their Deputized Fundraising Policy, I’m able raise the other 50% through forming a team of ministry partners who choose to support Marmon Valley Ministries with a tax-deductible gift. In accordance with IRS regulations, contributions are solicited with the understanding that Marmon Valley Ministries has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. Marmon Valley Ministries will attempt to honor gifts preferenced to support particular workers, but the final decision on the use of all fund’s rests with the organization.

If you choose to join our ministry team as a financial partner, you may do so using the following two options. 

1) To make a donation online go to here.

On the Donate tab, choose “summer staff support”, fill out the form and put her full name in the space that says, “Donation Note”, hit send. They will receive your donation and you will receive a tax donation letter in a few days.

2) Mail a check made out to: Marmon Valley Ministries (Marmon Valley Ministries - w 7754 State Route 292 w Zanesfield, OH 43360)
