The Ultimate Challenge – 28 Day Prayer Journey
Do you have a prayer list? A written record of people and things you pray for everyday or nearly everyday? Your list most likely will reveal who and what is important to you.
Do you think Jesus had a prayer list? Jesus’ prayer found in the Gospel of John chapter 17 and just like our prayer list, gives us a glimpse at the things that are important to Christ. Jesus’ list can be summarized into four requests:
- Jesus prays that He might be glorified.
- Jesus prays that Christians might be sanctified.
- Jesus prays that the church might be unified.
- Jesus prays that the world might be evangelized.
Not only will we take a look at each of those requests on Sunday mornings during our 10 a.m. gathered worship and teaching time, but we have embarked on a 28 Day Prayer Journey. Please join us for The Ultimate Challenge by praying for the next 28 days following the prayer calendar below and by reading John 17 every day for the next 28 days (John 17 is included on last page of the 28 Day Prayer Calendar)!
