Important Upcoming Dates

What an exciting summer this has already been for Journey Church! It’s hard to believe we are just a few short weeks away from August already too. There are several important dates to circle on your calendar for events that are happening at Journey Church. Please see the entire list below and check the links for further details. You can also always check the calendar page right here on the web site. Exciting days and events ahead. Here is what we have planned:

• On Sunday, July 31st we will meet in the Abbey Theater at the Dublin Recreation Center for our normal Sunday Worship service (10:00am). Our guest will be Matthew Moore of Lamp and Light Productions. Matthew will present a moving tribute to King David called “Scenes from Scripture”. Please note the different location at the Dublin Recreation Center.
• We are also thrilled to host our first ever Vacation Bible School beginning Monday, August 1st at Sports Ohio in Dublin, Ohio. Please see THIS LINK for all details, forms, dates and times related to this exciting week.
• The next Sunday, August 7th, we will begin our 4 weeks of meeting at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio. Due to events at the Dublin Recreation Center, we need to change locations for the month of August. Find all the directions and details (HERE).
• Lastly, on Sunday, September 4th, we will not have our regularly scheduled worship time at 10:00am. We WILL meet at 4:00pm at the Fisher’s farm to celebrate Labor Day, worship and fellowship with one another. For more details about this annual tradition, click on THIS LINK.

August @ Embassy Suites

A quick note to remind everyone that for the month of August, Journey Church will meet at the Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio. The Dublin Recreation Center, where we normally meet, will be closed for the entire month of August. We are thankful to have a wonderful facility like The Embassy Suites very close to our normal gathering place for the dates of August 7, 14, 21 and 28th. Please mark your calendars now for these dates. We will meet at the Fishers Farm on September 4th for a Labor Day gathering and resume meeting at the Dublin Recreation Center on Sunday, September 11th.

King David – scenes from scripture

On Sunday, July 31st @ 10:00am, Journey Church is excited to welcome Matthew Moore for a performance of “King David – Scenes from scripture”.

Matthew Moore is a professional actor, director and educator with a passion for helping people see, hear and experience God’s Word. With two decades of experience and a Master of Fine Arts in classical acting, Matthew combines well-trained artistry, careful Biblical research, and a reverent spirit for a passionate performance you will not soon forget.

Sunday Service

Because Life is a Journey, there’s journey church. Journey is a church full of people who have not yet arrived at their destination, but have joined together on the road to discovering what it means to be followers of Christ.

Our desire is that anyone who comes to Journey Church will find an atmosphere of warmth and genuine concern for one another, authentic worship and solid Bible teaching as well as a sense of mission and purpose.

Journey Church will accept you as you are, believing that God has a purpose and destiny for your life. Come join us because life is a journey…and you shouldn’t go it alone.

Service starts at 10:00am (Directions) but your welcome to come early and enjoy a cup of coffee with us!
